Policies & Terms

Return policy

At VintageVault, we understand that acquiring a collector-grade vehicle is a significant decision. Our return policy is designed to provide peace of mind while maintaining the integrity of our curated collection.

1. 48-Hour Inspection Period

Upon delivery of your vehicle, you have a 48-hour inspection period to ensure the car matches the condition report provided at the time of sale. We encourage a professional third-party inspection during this window.

  • The vehicle must not have been driven more than 50 additional miles.
  • The vehicle must remain in the same condition as delivered.
  • All documentation and accessories must be present.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only if a material mechanical or cosmetic discrepancy exists that was not disclosed in the original condition report or private viewing.

Please note that "Buyer's Remorse" does not qualify for a return under our standard terms, given the unique nature and market volatility of collector vehicles.

3. The Refund Process

Once a return is authorized, the following steps will be taken:

Re-Inspection

The vehicle must be returned to our facility for a thorough re-inspection to verify its condition.

Escrow Release

Upon successful re-inspection, funds held in escrow will be released back to the buyer, minus transport costs.

4. Shipping & Transport Costs

The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return of the vehicle. All returns must be handled by a VintageVault-approved enclosed transport carrier to ensure the vehicle's safety.
